POST: OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Application are invited from qualified candidates to be employed on as Office Administrator by Mzalendo Associates Consulting
Company Limited (MACC)
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The candidate will be responsible to oversee the day-to-day activities of the finance and administration functions and to ensure it is
being run correctly and efficiently, and be expected to add value by supporting the expected growth of the Company. The role will
involve extensive liaison with the MACC Executive Director, other members of the team, and relevant external contacts.
STATION OF WORK:
To be stationed at the MACC Head Office in Dodoma.
REPORTS TO:
MACC Executive Director
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
At least holder of Diploma in Accounts and Finance, Human resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or any
other related courses
Must have a working experience of not less than One (1) year.
Excellent written and spoken English and Swahili language skills.
SKILLS:
Should be highly organized and be able to work with minimum supervision.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills and maintain effective working relationships.
Must have Computer knowledge - Extensive technical knowledge on various software, hardware and networks. (Proficient in MS
Word and MS Excel.)
Ability to record financial information and create consolidated financial statements.
Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively with high skills at suggesting feasible time and prompt solutions.
Have a working knowledge of accounting software, general computer literacy and ability to work in a
team
DUTIES:
Perform the technical guidance to guide the company in building up a strong association network, to implement the MACC
Strategic plans.
Opens and distributes mails; prepares and mails outgoing internal and external correspondence
Maintains accurate Petty Cash expenditure records
Must be able to produce financial statements in a computerized system on monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Prepare and maintain the proper books of Accounts
Prepare the monthly bank reconciliations
Administers the office cleaning; and general cleanliness of the office
Assist with preparation of the budget
Implement financial policies and procedures
Reconcile the general ledger
Prepare and reconcile general bank statements
Ensure transactions are properly recorded and entered into the computerized accounting system
Maintains calendars, schedules appointments, receives visitors, screens calls and mails, arranges travel, answers or forwards
enquiries concerning MACC
Assist with the annual audit
Administer employment agreements
Supervise clients services and respond to clients inquiries

SALARY SCALE:
