Responsibilities

• Surveying technician collect, analyse data and develop plans for land Surveyors to provide the basic information required for a Surveying project. Surveying technicians do the following:
• Take measurements/collect information using high tech equipment.
• Analyse survey data and make calculations
• Draft plans, & plot data using computer software
• Set out reference points on land and construction activities
• Surveying technician will be involved in various projects such as survey drafting, photogrammetric, mining, land development or engineering and construction Surveying.

Education

• Diploma in Land Survey or Geomatics from a recognized institution

Working Experiences

• A minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in land surveying as assistant or technician. Experience in cadastral survey is compulsory. Knowledge of CityPlan areas of professional activities is desired

Language

• English and Swahili are the working language of CityPlan group. For this post, fluency in written and oral English is required.

Assessment Method

• Evaluation of qualified candidates for this position may include substantive assessment which will be followed by competency based interview.
