Job Purpose
The Claims Administrator’s overall purpose is to ensure that members’ claims are well received in
a more efficient and accurate manner as well as communicate to MSPs or clients on claims issues
that arise.
Key Responsibility Areas:
1. Accurately and timely receiving claims and reviews all pertinent claim information to ensure
quality output.
2. Request additional information as appropriate from provider on received claims.
3. Communicate on inconsistencies or missing details on remittances/refund
4. Record the claims received on the claims register and maintain communications to providers
and clients on claims/refunds.
5. Timely reconciliation of received claims before processing.
6. Timely handling of the disputed claims.
7. Oversee and ensure efficiency of claims receiving
8. Prepare and communicate on the relevant reports to the management.
9. Initiate projects that contribute to efficiency in claims process.
10. Accurate and timely data entry.
11. Efficient correspondence on client’s queries &feedback.
12. Perform any other tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications, Knowledge, Skill and Ability
Knowledge & Experience Required
Essential
Diploma in a business related field.
At least 2 years relevant experience.
Basic Accounting knowledge.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office with excellent skills in Excel.
Desirable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Computer proficiency
Good analytical and problem solving skills.
Good time management and organizational skills.
