Tanzania.

Job Description:
The Mill Support Manager (MSM) will drive, manage, and control the development and continuous
improvement of the inventory, repair, monitoring and distribution systems. The MSM is responsible for
achieving maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within Tanzania, by effectively
advocating for and selling our fortification products directly to flour millers. The MSM will work closely with
multiple stakeholders, including millers, Tanzania Food and Drug Authority, local technicians, and other
commercial and government partners. S/he will report directly to the Country Director.

Primary Work Responsibilities:
• Conduct standard troubleshooting and analysis of our fortification technology at the mill, and
performing basic repairs when needed.
• Manage product inventory including pipeline.
• Meet with clients regularly as per maintenance and product delivery schedules.
• Maintaining and expanding sales targets.
• Participate in to regional quarterly project planning.
• Prepare regular reports to management (oral and written) regarding customer needs, issues,
interests, and the potential for future sales.
• Prepare the vehicle service schedules, maintain vehicle logbook.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experiences: 
• 2+ years of experience working with a flour mill or other manufacturing facility or similar field.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical design.
• Able to understand and follow instructions on basic repair.
• Computer literate with a proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent oral and written (email/SMS) communication skills in both Swahili and English.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record in driving for at least 5 years.
• Specific knowledge of fortification, health/nutrition and the milling industry is helpful, but not required.
• Good organization, planning and time management skills.
• Able to work well on a team as well as independently.
