Sales / Projects Engineer DAS


Reports To: Business Leader Consumer Electronics
Department: Consumer Electronics
 Location: Tanzania
Closing Date: 28th February 2015 

Job Purpose: 
To achieve DAS Sales Targets (SELL IN) by managing relationship with the established
Distributors, and Channels within an assigned territory whilst tracking actual sales versus the
sales forecasts.

Distributor Management: 
• To give technical and sales support that is required to close AC project / B2B Sales.
• To ensure the execution of negotiated Joint Business Plans (JBPs) from activities such as Distributor Conferences/Strategy meetings for the DAS business unit.
• To ensure that all assigned Distributors have the relevant product information (product line ups/POSM guidelines/Flooring plans) as received from the Product Manager.
• To ensure responsible system utilization (GSBN, GPPM, GCSM, PVI) by Distributors and Master Channel partners.
• To ensure service delivery through effective performance management, motivation and retention of assigned Distributors.

• To formulate and execute distribution, sales strategies to grow pipeline and boost  Sell-In plans.
• To develop and implement Channel Management strategies that will increase product availability in the assigned territories.
• To issue PFI and ensure collection of all relevant documents(LC,IDF,TT copy and  any other required documents to close the sale are received on time
• To prepare periodic (weekly, monthly, quarterly etc.) management and ad hoc reports that keep track of the sales performance with an overview of achieving monthly sales targets (SELL IN).
• Negotiate and create proposal comparisons that create a winning Project proposal

Supply Chain Management 
• To ensure effective six (6) months demand planning/sales forecast with proper
follow up negotiations to ensure assigned stretch targets are met.
• To recommend process and systems improvement to enhance quality and
efficiency within the business.
• To be responsible for the collections of Account Receivables(A/R)

Knowledge; Skills and Experience required for this Role 
• 5 years’ experience in B2B Sales and Marketing, with 2 years in Engineering related Sales.

• Bachelor’s dégrée in Mechanical / Electromechanical Engineering field or Discipline
• Sound knowledge of the Airconditioning Discipline, with capability to read AutoCAD

Sales Management: 
• Increase B2B Channel penetration and constantly update various segments (AC
Installer mapping / Consultant mapping / architects mapping) to position our
brand in the market.
• To liaise with the DAS Part Leader to develop realistic Sell In targets that will assist
in growing market share

Drawings and accurately Design AC Systems. 

• Proven expérience in working with (AC Installers / Mechanical Consultant / Architects) to
increase market coverage.
• Business processes, objectives and stratégies
