DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Search on the information needs of users
•Teach up to NTA level 8 (bachelor’s degree)
•Identify materials to be ordered by the library
•Prepare learning resources for tutorial exercises
•Ensure proper use of library collections
•Conduct research and case studies
•Supervise library assistants and assistant librarian trainee
•Carry out consultancy and community services
•Assists in preparation of budget for library furniture, books and periodicals
•Carry out cataloguing of books and periodicals
•Carry out any other duties as may be assigned by supervisor
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
•Master’s Degree in Librarianship or equivalent qualification and must have a GPA of 3.5 or above of undergraduate studies.
REMUNERATION: Salary Scale PHTS 2.1
