An International Company is hiring AUTOCAD Designer in Dar es Salaam; in this role the 
candidate will perform engineering design tasks to prepare drawings utilizing AutoCAD.
We are seeking a range of experience with AutoCAD designer, with minimum experience of 2 –
3 years +. Responsibility, title and compensation will be determined by experience and 
education of candidate.

Location: 228, Lukuledi Street Mikocheni, Dar Es Salaam
Duration: 6 + Months (Possibility of Extension)

Position: AUTOCAD Designer

Reports to: Managing Director

Responsibilities and Duties:
 Maintains advance knowledge of wireless equipment and compound layouts.
 Prepare design development drawings on AutoCAD from preliminary and /or field 
sketches.
 Produces A&E drawings with accuracy and attention to details. Performs basics design 
computations.
 Translates sketches, verbal and written information into CADD drawings.
 Assists in scheduling the assigned projects by developing charts and revising schedules 
under the direction of the project manager.
 Checks own work (using highlight maker) to ensure that all redlined corrections are fully 
and accurately transferred to the CADD files.
 Gives direction and training to new and other CADD staff members.
 Is proficient in computer software, including AUTOCAD, Microsoft word, outlook and 
Excel.
 Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods of time.

Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degree in AutoCAD Engineering with at least 3 years working experience. 
Telecom experience will be an added advantage.

 Good communication skills of English and Kiswahili written/oral, Ability to plan and 
work to strict deadlines.
