Assistant Manager - Workshop

JOB TITLE: ASST. MANAGER-WORKSHOP 

Job Purpose: 
 Co-ordinate effective communication between customer and workshop.
 Customer issues handling & service reception.

Key Responsibilities: 
 Equip workshop with all necessary tools, equipments and infrastructure.
 Train & supervise technicians, electricians & helpers.
 To ensure periodic maintenance and calibration of tools equipments and infrastructure through service advisors and supervisors.
 Assure quality workmanship.
 Conduct spot checks regularly for ensuring sustained quality control.
 Ensure rules and regulations such as time lines, dress code quality of work, safety and other workshop activities are adhered.
 MIS reports (Like Daily, monthly reports).
 Ensure maximum work flow and judicious job distribution.
 Co-ordinate for staff training and maintain cordial relationship amongst them.
 Plan and co-ordinate service promotion activities.
 Review availability of parts & consumables and inform workshop manager on the status.
 Overview of the workshop activities and provide Feedback to management.
 Provide technical guidance, especially in terms of warranty decisions and troubleshooting.

Desired Profile:
  Must have knowledge of workshop operations.
 Vehicle repair knowledge and trouble shooting.

Educational 
Qualifications: 
Diploma in automobile/Mechanical
Relevant years of  Experience:
Between 6-10 yrs of experience (overall)

Competencies:
  Relationship building
 Communication &Interpersonal skills
 Computer Knowledge in preparing reports & Microsoft office
Industry Preference: Automotive
