We are looking skilled Software Engineers to work on designing, developing and supporting variety systems at COSEKE(T)Ltd based in Dar es Salaam,Tanzania.
Responsibilities.
-Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products. Develops software including operating systems, compilers,networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design.
-Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on specific objectives and established project guidelines.
-Executes and writes portions of testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of application; identifies and debugs issues with code and suggests changes or improvements.
-Participates as a member of project team of other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for assigned systems portion or subsystem
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering , related field.
Experiense and Skills
-Strongly analytical and problem solving skills
-Ability to work in a team environment, proven written and oral communication skills
-Experience with software development.
-Database experience with SQL SERVER, oracle,SQL and Stored Procedures.
-Experience in system implementation and design
-Experience of database design and optimisation including SQL technologies
-Proven ability in programming or scripting for application development or system administration
-Experience of software installation and deployment in Linux environments
-Experience of systems management, monitoring and performance tuning
