VACANCY: MANAGER: BUSINESS ANALYSIS
This position will be responsible for doing revenue planning, budgeting, and in-depth
analysis/interpretation of various statistics available within and outside the company to deliver the
expected output.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the annual budget exercise and budget reviews for both Revenues and Marketing costs.
Monthly and quarterly forecasts submission for usages tariffs, subscribers and other revenue and
marketing costs drivers.
Conducting monthly and other periodic revenue and costs variance analysis between actual and
forecasts.
Liaising with finance department on budget related issues
Daily diagnostic revenue monitoring and analysis.
Weekly Revenue tracking and variance analysis (Marketing Dashboard and other tools).
Continuously developing other tools for monitoring, tracking and reporting revenues and variances noted.
Continuously monitoring business trends, products and tariffs and suggesting ways to improve performance of the company.
Monitoring and reporting on Performance of the new initiatives / products against pre-identified
targets.
Liaising with finance department on Revenue related issues.
Evaluating business cases for ALL new products or products reviewed prior to HoD recommendation for further approvals.
In collaboration with Geo-Marketing team, conducting competitive analysis of our products to those of competition.
Conducting and reporting on post launch and reviews products’ performance.
Daily maintenance of marketing costs’ register.
Monthly marketing costs variance analysis and suggestions for corrective actions.
Monthly review and reporting on marketing costs performance and trends.
Managing financial elements of all marketing contracts.
Liaising with finance department on marketing costs related issues.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & FUNCTIONAL / RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Bachelor degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or other related social sciences.
Basic Accounting knowledge is a MUST.
Post Graduate Degree in Business Management or other and Exposure to Financial Courses during Grad/ PG is an additional plus.
Strong analytical, Arithmetic’s, economics and financial skills are highly required
The person should have at least 2 years working experience in Business Analysis, Marketing, and Accounting.
Cross functional exposure in other business areas like Finance / Marketing / Sales is a plus.
Strong spreadsheet and Presentation skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint etc).
