Senior Local Content Officer – 1 Post Duty

Post Title: Senior Local Content Officer – 1 Post Duty Station:   EWURA Head Office – Dar es Salaam

Reports to: Principal Local Content Officer

Senior Local Content Officer will be responsible for monitoring the natural gas industry by ensuring the development and maintenance of local content.

 Main Duties and Responsibilities: 

i)           To Coordinate the development of local content;

ii)         To Prepare guidelines for local content plans and reporting;

iii)       To Make recommendations to the Authority for the formulation of local content Regulations;

iv)       To Set minimum requirements for local content in local content plans;

v)         To diseminate Public education and sensitization;

vi)To Undertake local content monitoring, audit and enforcement;and

vii) To undertake any other duties as assigned by the supervisor .

  Academic Qualifications and Experience 

The    ideal    candidate      for    this    position    should    have    the    following qualifications and experience:

i)     Possession of Bachelors degree in Economics, Engineering (Gas, Chemical Processing, Mechanical) from a recognized University;

ii)   Ability to carry out research

iii) Possession of Knowledge and Competence in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) application;

iv)    Possession of at least five (5) years work experience in relevant in relevant fields.
