Water Quality Analyst (Water Engineer) – 1 Post Duty.

Post Title: Water Quality Analyst (Water Engineer) – 1 Post Duty Station: EWURA Head Office – Dar es Salaam

Reports to:Senior Water Engineer

Water Engineer will provide assistance in the monitoring of technical matters of the water regulated sector.

 Main Duties and Responsibilities:  

i)        To    assist     in    coordination,   collation,   analysis   and   storage   of information for regulatory reporting purpose on periodic basis;

ii)      To participate in carrying out technical analyses of water sources and their utilization efficiency and report ant potential problems that require attention;

iii)    To participate inspection of water supply and sanitation services;

iv)    To assist in providing technical inputs towards resolving disputes between regulated service providers and consumers;

v)      To assist in reviewing reports submitted by Water Utilities;

vi)    To follow up on payment of levies; and

vii)  To undertake any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

 Academic Qualifications and Experience 

The    ideal   candidate   should    have    the    following   qualifications   and experience:

i)        Possession of BSc. In (Laboratory Science and Technology, Environmental Engineering, Municipal and Industrial services Engineering) Civil and Water Resources Engineering from a recognized university;

ii)      Possession of Knowledge and Competence in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) application;

No prior work experience is required but possession of work experience in related fields will be an added advantage.
